The Interior design of this home is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright; Wright believed in designing in harmony with humanity and the environment, a philosophy he called OrganicArchitecture. We use this philosophy in each of these stunning structures, drawing inspiration from our beloved Great Smoky Mountains.

With the unbelievable 12 windows and doors upstairs, this log home is saturated in natural light and brings the feeling of the outside, in. Exposure to natural light helps our bodies produce Vitamin D, improves sleep patterns, and even makes us happier. Ensuring we get enough of this vital resource is key to our physical and psychological wellbeing. The elements of Organic Architecture in these homes offer more than just something beautiful to look at.

We also use dovetail joinery, which has proven through the centuries to be the strongest interlocking system yet. The dovetail joint provides considerable mechanical strength because when the joint is assembled, it can't be twisted or racked. This method and technique predate written history. Some of the earliest known examples of the dovetail joint are in ancient Egyptian furniture entombed with mummies dating from the First Dynasty.

The individually milled logs include a v-groove radius to each piece. Solid lap siding for dormers and gable ends, gives it the Craftsman look. This is not D-log siding, but solid 6’x 12’ pre-milled logs that are cut to length for your package. Also included are pre-cut pine rafters with scalloped ends to enhance the quaint porches. 30" eves lend to the Cantilever style that help give extra protection to the cabin.

We continue to do what we love every day, creating unique wood products with the highest level of creativity and craftsmanship money can buy. Our Story Book Cabins are produced by the Casey family right here in Gatlinburg/Sevierville Tennessee.

Because we make everything from the walls, rafters, decking, ceiling, flooring and more, we can control the fixed lumber costs. Each custom package comes with everything you will need to start your home your own along with enough left-over material to cover the waste. Limits half day wasted trips to the big box store for one part.

These craftsman style cabins are site-built construction. Because they are site built, they are eligible for conventional mortgage financing.
